When it comes to creating unforgettable visual moments in film and television, wardrobe plays a powerful role — and latex has become one of Hollywood’s favorite materials for capturing bold, provocative style.
For the promotional campaign of Ryan Murphy’s newest Netflix series, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, Vex Clothing was commissioned to create the striking green latex ensemble featured in the official posters and teasers. Styled by @chilllllc Chelsea Staebell the look exudes dominance and mystery — a fitting match for the chilling tone of the series.

Each piece was hand-crafted in our California studio from rich forest-green latex. The custom set included:
A full-body latex catsuit with contrasting black seam detailing and a front zipper, engineered for a flawless, sculpted fit.
A structured latex peplum jacket featuring metal button details and a cinched waist, giving a modern military edge.
A matching latex cap, finished with a silver-chain trim and black patent brim for that extra commanding touch.
Every element was designed to photograph beautifully under cinematic lighting — highlighting the gloss, structure, and depth of the latex itself.

Working with Chelsea Staebell and the production’s creative stylist allowed us to blend costume design and fashion craft at the highest level. This collaboration continues Vex Clothing’s legacy of shaping latex for film, fashion, and celebrity styling — bridging the gap between avant-garde couture and screen storytelling.
