All Vex Clothing items are handcrafted in our California studio by our small, talented team of designers. We’re working around the clock to ensure your order is up to our quality standards so please allow 4 weeks for production and shipping. Expedited service may be available upon request and will depend on the availability of materials. Rush fees apply.

Ready to Ship items will dispatch within 48 hours of your purchase Monday–Thursday. If you purchase both Made To Order and Ready to Ship items, they will all ship at the same time. 

All orders shipped within the state of California will be charged 7.75% sales tax. International orders are subject to customs and duties fees. Vex Clothing is not responsible for any additional charges or delays caused by customs’ clearance process.

ORDERING QUESTIONS

How long will it take to receive my order?  

Vex Clothing latex items are handcrafted by Laura and her small team. The turnaround time to measure and produce an item is 2–4 weeks. 

We do have a READY TO SHIP section with select items that are pre-made. These items ship within 48 hours from the time of purchase Monday–Thursday.

Can you rush ship the order?

If you need your order faster, in most cases we can accommodate. Please contact us to confirm if this is possible as it depends on the material we have in our studio. Please note: rush fees may apply. 

Can I cancel my order? 

Since each item is made to order, we do not offer cancellations or refunds. We prioritize our customers’ happiness and will do our best to accommodate if there are any issues with your order. Please reach out to us at [insert email address here] or [insert phone number here]. 

 How do I know what size to order?

Every item has a size chart on the product page. Measure your chest, waist and hips in inches and follow the chart to find the best fit for your body. If you’re still not sure, reach out to us at [insert email address here] and we’ll help guide you in the right direction.

 Can I have my item made for my measurements?

Yes, you can! We offer a made-to-measure service for a small fee. If you’d like this service, please contact us. Then, simply fill out our measurementsform to get a customized item just for you.

 Can I change my address?

Unfortunately, after your order is placed we are unable to change the shipping address due to credit card security issues.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Some individuals are sensitive and/or allergic to latex and/or rubber intended for extended skin contact. Some sensitivities and allergic reactions can be severe. Vex Clothing recommends that you test a small patch of skin against the latex and/or rubber material before purchasing a garment. The customer agrees that Vex Clothing, Inc. shall not be responsible for any such sensitivity and/or allergic reaction the customer may experience as a result of wearing Vex Clothing apparel or accessories.

How do I care for my Vex latex piece?

To ensure the longevity of your latex piece, we’ve created aCare & Shine guide for you. We also carry manyproducts to help with maintaining the quality and shine of your latex garments. 

Are your items chlorinated?

No, we do not chlorinate latex. 

 

CUSTOM ORDERS

 Submit your custom request and our team will get back to you with a price estimate for final approval. Upon approval, kindly submit your deposit fee as noted in the price estimate. We look forward to working with you on your one-of-a-kind design! 

Please note: due to time constraints, Laura may not be able to fulfill all custom orders. We will always give you notice if this is the case.  

 How long will it take?

Once you submit your deposit, we’ll send you the timeline for the completion of your project. As our regular orders can take 2–4 weeks to process, custom orders can take 4–8 weeks depending on the materials needed and personalized fittings. 

 

FITTING INFORMATION

If you’re unable to come to our studio for a personal fitting, here’s what we’ll need:

Please include a full-length photo of yourself in form-fitting clothing along with your measurements. Need help measuring? Ask a friend! All orders require accurate and complete measurements. Then, simply fill out themade to measure form.

 What if it doesn't fit?

We do our best to get it right the first time, but sometimes alterations are necessary. Please send any alteration notes to us via email or phone. We’ll need high-quality full-length photos of yourself in the garment from all angles including the front, back and sides. The more photos the better. You may also request a Skype session in order to review the garment changes via email at sales@vexclothing.com. The first minor alteration session is included in the initial price quote. However, if your original measurements were inaccurate, the client is responsible for additional alteration fees.

RETURNS

If you purchase Seel Return Assurance for eligible items in your order, please use the Seel Return Portal to return your eligible items. You can learn more about the Seel Return Assurance policy here. If you do not purchase Seel Return Assurance along with your order, the order is subject to the standard return policy

Can I return an item if it does not fit?

Since each item is made to order, our items are not returnable, unless you purchase Seel Return Assurance with the exception of items marked READY TO SHIP. Ready To Ship items are pre-made and can be returned for store credit. We can also do alterations on items for an additional charge.

You can purchase Seel Return Assurance at checkout if you want the option to return and receive a refund for eligible items. If Seel Return Assurance is not purchased for eligible items in your order, then your order is subject to the merchant's standard return policy. You can learn more about Seel Return Assurance and the Seel Return Assurance policy and return process here. You must follow these instructions to qualify if you purchase Seel Return Assurance for eligible items.

READY TO SHIP

READY TO SHIP items are returnable only for store credit within 15 days. We do not issue refunds. Shipping fees, insurance, rush fees, taxes or duties will not be refunded. Undergarments are final sale due to sanitary reasons. Please contact us for a return authorization form before shipping the product back to us.

 

HANDMADE ORDERS

Vex Clothing does not accept returns on most items since they are handmade to order, unless you purchase Seel Return Assurance. There are certain circumstances where a return or exchange will be granted. If a return is granted for store credit, please be aware that rush fees and shipping cost are not refundable. Items must be unworn and in their original, new condition. Any item not in its original state or is damaged will not be accepted. Returns or exchanges must be made within 15 days from delivery. Restocking fees may apply. If you need a return or exchange please email us atsales@vexclothing.com

 

ERRORS / DAMAGED GOODS

Please notify Vex Clothing of any errors or damages to your items within 5 business days of the receipt of the shipment. Vex is not responsible for any damages made due to lack of care or neglect. No claim filed outside the 5-business-day time period will warrant any type of claim. A replacement item or store credit will be issued once the damaged item is received back in our studio.  Is your packaging discreet?

Yes, our packages are mailed in non-logo packaging to keep your order private. We leave the surprise for when you open the box!

Do you ship internationally?

We’re pleased to offer shipping worldwide. At checkout you can select the shipping service of your choice. All orders over $200 receive free shipping! Please note: this does not cover Taxes or Duties for your international order. Please check with your country's customs office for rates. 



PROMOTIONS

On occasion, we’ll issue promotional codes, sale codes or gift certificates for a credit towards your online order. 

Vex Clothing reserves the right to cancel a promotion and/or reject redemption of any promotional code. Promotional codes do not cover costs on any shipping, duties or taxes. We’ll honor a price adjustment on online purchases within a 7-day period prior to the start of a sale. All price adjustments will be issued in the form of a Vex Clothing store credit.



REPAIRS & ALTERATIONS

We offer repair and alteration services for all of our latex designs. We assure the highest quality in all of our garments, but we provide this service for mishaps and accidents, transformed body shapes, or problems with other latex designer and name brand items. ORDERING QUESTIONS

Vex Clothing latex items are handcrafted by Laura and her small team. The turnaround time to produce an item right now is 4 weeks. Production turn around times are not guaranteed. If your order is time sensitive please contact us at sales@vexclothing.com about our rush service (rush fees will apply).

We do have a Ready to Ship section with select items that are pre-made and currently in inventory. These items ship within 48 hours from the time of purchase Monday–Thursday.

We will allow cancelations within 48 hours of the order being placed. After that no cancelations will be accepted because each item is hand made to order - materials, supplies and production have begun. Please reach out to us at sales@vexclothing.com or 773-282-0723.

Please note, all gift card purchases are final sale, they cannot be returned, cancelled, and/or refunded.

If you are in-between sizes we recommend sizing down for a tight fit and sizing up for a comfortable, but not baggy fit. Any items with a waistband don't size down as it may cause a muffin top effect. 

In some circumstances sizing down can create stress on the zipper causing it to break.

Yes, you can! We offer an upgraded Made to Measure service for a fee. You can read more about it and submit the 2 minute measurement form in the Made to Measure section of our Custom page.

Please note this fee pays for:

- The 3D tailor software we use to get accurate measurements.

- Our time to go over every measurements and create a pattern just for your body shape.

- A fitting and alteration if needed to insure a perfect fit.

- Time to cross reference body photos submitted and measurements.

-Custom patterns and designed are only saved for 6 months from creation

Unfortunately, after your order is placed we are unable to change the shipping address due to credit card security issues.

SHIPPING

Yes, we are now able to offer order pick up to customers in the Long Beach area only. At checkout please select pick up as the delivery method. You will receive an email when your order is ready to schedule a time to get your order at the studio. Your order must be picked up within five days of your appointment.

Please note that normal order turnaround times still apply.

We’re pleased to offer shipping worldwide at new discounted flat rates based on your order size. All packages will be insured and trackable for our customers.

$300-$499 = $35 flat rate

$500-$999 = $25 flat rate

$1,000 and up = FREE shipping

Please note - this does not cover taxes or duties for your international order. Please check with your country's customs office for rates. Any packages that are refused are not eligible for a refund. If the package is returned to us, customers will have 14 days to contact us and pay to have the item reshipped to them. In the event of a returned package, customers may incur charges for return shipping, duties, and administrative fees imposed by the shipping carrier. These additional fees must be paid at time of reshipment.

UPS Ground service to Canada charges a brokerage fee in addition to the customs duties and fees. You can read more about the UPS brokerage rates here.

To avoid this charge you can select an upgraded shipping option at checkout or call/email UPS to self account for the package. Vex Clothing does not offer refunds for refused packages.

To self account for your package follow these steps:

1. Do NOT agree to UPS acting as your broker. Not through email or when they’re at your door. Just say no and do NOT accept your package.

2. Email or call UPS and say you are going to self clear your item. Ask them to email you the necessary documents.

3. Bring those documents to your nearest Canada Border Services Agency (must be Inland offices)

4. Pay your actual taxes and get your stamped forms back along with the B-15 form they provide.

5. Email the forms back to UPS to prove you paid your owing taxes.

6. Wait for your package to arrive free of charge.

Yes! Although many latex companies don't shine items or charge a shining fee - we ALWAYS shine every order prior to shipping.

No, we do not chlorinate latex. 

The latex of our print products are created with a hand poured method. Due to the organic nature of the process and material there may be irregulates to color or thickness. Print products can also vary slightly from the pictured swatch, depending on where the cut falls within the roll of our organic latex materials. 

The smell you're experiencing from your latex garment could be due to the material itself. Latex is a type of rubber, and the distinctive odor is often associated with rubber products. Latex clothing can have a natural odor that tends to dissipate over time with proper airing and storage. If the smell is bothersome to you, consider hanging your garment in a dark well-ventilated area.

RETURNS

Shipping addresses in the United States must purchase Seel Return Assurance during checkout to be eligible.

If you are unsure about the right size or fit based on our sizing guides in the product descriptions, we encourage you to purchase Seel Return Assurance at checkout for peace of mind. With Seel Return Assurance, you can receive a refund for otherwise non-refundable items. Simply add Seel Return Assurance to your order during checkout to have the option to return your items and receive a refund.

We’ll calculate the cost based on all eligible items in your cart. Some exclusions will apply (custom, made to measure, latex care & shine collection, sample items).

We allowREADY TO SHIP items to be returned forstore credit only without SEEL return insurance.

The item(s) must be new, unworn, unwashed, in the same condition in which you received them, without any traces of perfumes or other applied scents, and in the original packaging with tags attached.

All purchases are subject to the standard return period of 15 days. Returns must be initiated within 48 hours from the date your package is marked as delivered by the carrier. The item must then be shipped back within 15 days.

To initiate a return, please email sales@vexclothing.com with your order number, photos verifying the new condition and reason for return.

Items must be shipped back wrapped the same as it was received. Please use the tissue paper to wrap the metal on zippers as it can stain the latex. We put a lot of love into our items so please return them with the same care. If the return is not received in perfect condition we will not be able to accept the return.

We are unable to offer free return shipping on eligible item(s) returned. You are responsible for the return shipping fee at the carrier’s rate.

Once the return is received and approved, the refund will be processed to your original form of payment. If we are unable to accept the return based on damage the customer will be responsible for the return shipping. After 7 days the order will be considered abandoned.

Seel Return Assurance is currently only offered on orders shipping to addresses in the United States. Please note, the cost of Seel Return Assurance is nonrefundable.

Seel Return Assurance is NOT eligible for custom designs, rush fees, Repair Kits, ANY Latex Care Products, Gift Wrapping, Ornaments, Candles, Storage Bags, or Sample Products.

READY TO SHIP COLLECTION

Ready to Ship items are pre-made items, currently in inventory, and will be shipped within 48 hours of your purchase Monday–Thursday. If you purchase both Made to Order and Ready to Ship items, they will all ship at one time.

HANDMADE / MADE TO ORDER COLLECTIONS

A majority of the items created by Vex are handmade and Made to Order with each purchase. We don’t have anything in inventory except our Ready to Ship Collection. Items are made to order based on our stock sizing guide. ERRORS / DAMAGED GOODS

If you have received a Vex Clothing item that has an error or is damaged, it is important to report it as soon as possible. This guide will provide you with the steps to report any errors or damages with Vex Clothing items.

Timeframe

It is crucial to report any errors or damages within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. This will help ensure that your claim is processed in a timely manner.

Claims

Claims filed outside the 2-business-day time period will not warrant any type of claim. It is important to report any issues as soon as possible to ensure that your claim is processed.

Replacement

If your item is damaged or has an error, Vex Clothing will issue a replacement item or store credit once the damaged item is received back in the Vex Clothing studio. Please contact customer service to initiate the return process.

Warranty Information

At Vex Clothing, we stand behind the quality of our products and want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases. We offer a warranty on our products to cover any defects in workmanship. This article will provide you with the details of our warranty and how to make a claim.

What is Covered and Not Covered

Our warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, such as seams coming unglued or zipper pulls coming off. However, it does not cover damages caused by misuse or lack of care, such as zipper teeth damage or tears due to mishandling or improper storage.

Making a Claim

If you believe your Vex Clothing item has a defect covered under our warranty, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will ask for photos of the issue to assess the problem and determine if it is covered under our warranty. If we determine that the item is covered under our warranty, we will provide instructions on how to return the item for repair or replacement. Please note that shipping costs will be covered by the customer.

Proper Care and Handling

To avoid damage and voiding the warranty, it is important to follow the care instructions provided with your Vex Clothing item. Proper care includes hand washing, avoiding harsh chemicals, and storing the item properly to prevent damage. Please read our care section for more information.

Warranty Details

Our warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or lack of care. Vex Clothing reserves the right to determine if the item is covered under our warranty and to offer repair or replacement at our discretion.
