A sculptural black latex gown built for Jesse Jo Stark — worn in the video for her single “Breathe.”

The brief was for something that read as armor and gown at once. We answered it with molded latex: a bodice sculpted directly to the form, a single dramatic spike rising from the shoulder like a horn, and a long column skirt that pools into a train. Every curve is set in the material itself, not draped — a piece that holds its shape under the hardest light.

In the Studio

The gown began as a hand-molded shell. The bust is formed and bonded to hold its own architecture, and the signature spike is built and finished separately before being set at the shoulder. Photographed here on the studio form before final fitting.
