Vex Latex × Sergio Hudson

10-year anniversary runway, New York. Two looks in custom Vex lace latex.

Laura Pulice and Sergio Hudson first met a decade ago on Bravo's Styled to Rock. When Sergio invited Vex to contribute to his 10-year anniversary runway, it was two designers reuniting on the other side of a decade — growth meeting growth.

He asked for the lace. Vex has been developing its proprietary laser-cut lace latex technique for over ten years — every piece begins as a fully digitized fishnet pattern, laser-cut from 0.45mm English latex, then hand-washed to remove the melted-film residue left behind by the laser. Architecture, not print.

Vex and Thom Browne joined forces to debut a groundbreaking collaboration for the 2023 Spring First Couture Collection. The partnership pushed creative boundaries and elevated latex from its subversive roots to the heights of high fashion.

The collection required a degree of craftsmanship only possible after decades of material mastery — custom-patterned panels, invisible seaming, and a finish that reads as couture at every angle.

Vex was honored to collaborate with Christian Cowan on a custom red latex suit, crafted exclusively for Rimmel London's Thrill Seeker Lip Latex launch.

The look required precision craftsmanship, advanced latex handling, and an expert grasp of high-fashion tailoring. Our team brought Cowan's vision to life with sharp detail and statement-making style.
