A two-tone purple rhinestone catsuit and matching face hood, hand-built in the Vex studio for a collaboration with L.O.C.A — sculpted latex, jeweled appliqués, and a fully mirrored hood.
When L.O.C.A came to us, the brief was pure statement: a full latex catsuit that read as couture from across a room, paired with a hood that finished the look head to toe. We built the piece entirely in-house — every panel cut, bonded, and set by hand — in a translucent lavender latex layered against deep purple, with rhinestone-outlined seams and circular jeweled florals across the bust.
From flat latex to sculpted form
Latex this structured starts flat. Each panel is cut to pattern, laid out, and bonded before any embellishment goes on — the two-tone effect comes from layering the sheer lavender over the darker purple so the light passes through differently across the body.

The bust is the anchor of the piece. Those circular jeweled florals are set individually, then framed by rhinestone piping that traces every seam — the detail that makes the catsuit catch light with every movement.

Off the form, the full silhouette comes together: rhinestone-outlined panels running the length of the body, the two-tone purple shifting from lavender to violet depending on the angle.

Finishing the look head to toe
The matching latex face hood was built to complete the look — same purple, same rhinestone language — so the whole silhouette reads as one continuous, sculpted piece.
