A mint-green latex recreation of Nurse Dolly from Ratched — the same custom dress Hailey Bieber wore for Halloween.
Nurse Dolly’s uniform is all period detail: a high buttoned collar, crisp puffed sleeves, a pinafore apron over a full skirt, and the peaked cap that finishes the look. We rebuilt every element in latex — keeping the 1940s silhouette but giving it the structure and shine only rubber can deliver.
Building the Costume
The dress is drafted and cut from mint latex sheeting, then bonded on the form. Working in latex means the shapes hold on their own — the collar stands, the apron sits flat, the sleeves keep their puff without any interlining.
Pattern pieces cut and bonded entirely by hand.
