Behind the Design

A Hottieween in Green Latex

An army-green latex catsuit with sculpted bust cups, a crystal capelet, a pearl-encrusted collar, and a masked, wide-brim-hatted alien silhouette. Here is how a full head-to-toe latex look came together — built by hand for one very big night.

For Megan Thee Stallion · Hottieween

A single-color latex look lives and dies on texture and detail. Go flat and it reads as a bodysuit; layer in sculpting, crystal, and pearl and it becomes couture. This green look was designed to do the second thing — a catsuit as the canvas, then built up with hand-set stones, molded cups, and a set of statement pieces that turn it into a character.

It starts with a sketch

Every custom begins on paper. The silhouette is drawn first — the line of the catsuit, the belt, the shape of the shoulder — so the proportions are locked before any latex is cut. It is the map the whole build follows.

Pearls and crystals, by hand

The green is quiet on its own, so the detail does the talking. A pearl-encrusted bib collar, crystal-outlined cut-outs, and beaded trim were all built up stone by stone against the latex — the kind of slow, hand-set work that catches light and separates a Vex piece from a costume.

The statement pieces

What makes it a full look are the extras: a green latex mask with cut-out eyes and a matching wide-brim latex hat, plus the crystal capelet across the shoulders. Each is its own build, made to read as one world with the catsuit.

The full look

Together on the form: the sculpted bust cups, the crystal belt and capelet, the lace-up leggings. Every element made by hand, in the same green, to move as one.

Why This Way

One color, built a hundred ways

A monochrome latex look only works if every surface is doing something — molded cups, hand-set pearls, a masked silhouette, a crystal capelet. Built in real 0.45mm latex for one wearer and one night, it reads as a full character rather than a single garment.

Planning your own showstopper?

Full custom looks — catsuits, molded bust cups, masks, hats, and encrusted detailing — are built from scratch for a single wearer and a single moment. Commissions start at $2,500 and scale with the build; a head-to-toe look like this sits higher. Made-to-measure on an existing style is a smaller step: base price plus a 70% fee.
