A cascade of hand-made latex roses and pleated ruffles, airbrushed for depth — Christina Aguilera's custom red Vex boa was built entirely by hand, one petal at a time. Styled by Chris Horan.
It starts with the roses. Each one is cut from red latex petal by petal, rolled and assembled by hand, then airbrushed with darker shading so every bloom reads with depth.
The roses are then set into rows of pleated latex ruffles that give the boa its volume and movement.
Row by row, the ruffles and roses build into the full boa.
