A one-of-a-kind mini dress in transparent nylon latex — a material and a technique we developed in our own California studio. Hand-marbled in Orange Red and yellow, it is a piece that could not be made twice.
Please note this latex is transparent. The dress is see-through, and the depth of color shifts with the light and with what is worn underneath. Style it over a lining, over lingerie, or on bare skin — it will read differently every time.
Nylon latex is raw by nature. The surface carries open, bare patches, streaking and natural inclusions where the latex breaks across the nylon — the texture you see in the close-up images is the material itself, not a print. These marks are intrinsic to the process, not defects, and the strength and integrity of the latex are completely unaffected.
