Thunderstruck Overalls – Hardware Latex Overalls | Vex Clothing

A bold latex overall with hook-and-eye hip fasteners and silver roller-buckle straps. Architectural hardware meets high-shine latex for a true showpiece.

Handmade in our California studio from 0.50mm latex imported from England.

Fit note: Our model Kimberly is 5'6″ wearing a Size Small Tall.

Styling: Wear over a latex bralette or bare, with tall boots.

Hardware: All hardware comes in silver as standard. A different hardware finish is available only as a custom order request — please contact us before purchasing.

Care: Wipe clean and shine with a silicone-based latex polish. Store flat, away from direct sunlight, oils, and metal, which can stain latex.

Sizing Guide
Latex Care

WEAR

Use talc powder to coat the inside of the garment.
For tight fitting garments, use a light coat of dressing aid or shiner.
To shine, use a latex shiner.

CLEAN

Let garment soak in a tub full of water with a small drop of viviclean.
Hang garment to dry.
Once the garment is completely dry, inside and out, powder the inside with talc powder.
Store garment on a plastic hanger in a dark plastic bag in a cool, shaded, dry place.

CAUTION

DO NOT use oil based lubricants and avoid over shining appliqué details. Lubricants can seep into seams which can cause the seam to become unbound.
AVOID sharp objects, such as long nails and jewelry. Take off all jewelry when putting on or taking off your garment. AVOID perfume, body sprays, and oils.
AVOID metal objects, such as coins, belts, and body piercings or copper, brass, and bronze based items. AVOID hanging garments with thin straps or on metal hangers.
When your garment is not in use we suggest covering any metal (zippers, buckles, eyelets ect.) with tissue paper to avoid staining.
Any light color latex, such as pink and white, will stain easily. Store these pieces separately.

1. Measure your body — not your dress size

Most people know their clothing size but not their actual measurements. For latex you need your real numbers, in inches:

Bust: around the fullest part of your chest
Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso
Hips: around the fullest part of your hips/seat

2. Match your inches to the size chart

Open the Size Chart button on this page. Our chart lists body measurements — your actual measurements — not the finished garment. Find the size that matches your inches.

3. Why it fits snug

We cut our latex smaller than your body measurements on purpose, so the natural stretch gives you a sculpted, second-skin fit. It's meant to feel tight going on — that's the look.

4. Between two sizes?

Choose based on the part of your body that matters most for this piece — for example hips for a skirt or catsuit, bust for a top or bra. When in doubt, size to your fullest measurement so it fits your largest point. For pants and fitted bottoms, don't size the waist too tight — too snug at the waist causes spill-over. Prioritize a smooth, comfortable waist.

5. Your latex, your fit

Fit is personal — some like their latex very tight, others prefer a little ease. For a perfect, made-to-your-body fit, select styles offer Made to Measure for a fee.
